Jeff Marshall is an Associate Broker and Auctioneer with Marshall Land Brokers & Auctioneers, bringing more than four decades of experience serving Nebraska’s agricultural community. Raised in a family deeply rooted in farming, ranching, and auctioneering, Jeff has spent his career helping producers, landowners, and rural families navigate important decisions with honesty, professionalism, and genuine care.

Growing up on his family’s farm and ranch in northern Phelps County near the Platte River, Jeff developed an appreciation for production agriculture at an early age. Auctioneering also became part of his life from a young age. His grandfather owned the Kearney Livestock Commission Company, where Jeff’s father, Eugene Marshall, and uncle, Robin Marshall, served as auctioneers after attending auction school. Inspired by their example, Jeff attended auction school in Kansas City after earning an associate degree in General Agriculture from the University of Nebraska and joined the family business in 1984.

Since then, Jeff has built a career that spans thousands of auctions, including land, farm equipment, livestock, and business liquidations. As both a licensed real estate broker and professional auctioneer, he specializes in farm and ranch properties, production agriculture, and Platte River and Sandhills real estate. His practical agricultural background and decades of experience allow him to provide clients with knowledgeable guidance throughout every stage of the selling process.

Jeff believes that every client deserves honest advice, clear communication, and realistic expectations. He understands that while buying and selling agricultural real estate is part of his everyday work, for most clients it represents a once-in-a-lifetime decision. His goal is to make that process as comfortable and successful as possible while earning the trust of every family he serves.

Outside of real estate, Jeff remains active in Nebraska agriculture and rural communities. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska, supporting cancer research while promoting Nebraska agriculture and rural communities. He also enjoys spending time on the family’s Platte River property, waterfowl hunting, and cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Jeff and his wife, Becky, have three daughters and twelve grandchildren, and they enjoy spending as much time as possible supporting their grandchildren’s activities.

Whether assisting with the sale of a working ranch, productive farmland, or agricultural equipment, Jeff believes success is built on integrity, relationships, and a willingness to always go the extra mile for every client.

Jeff’s decades in the livestock auction industry have allowed him to build lasting relationships with producers across Nebraska, relationships that continue to benefit buyers and sellers today.
