Office Phone: 308-234-6266 Cell Phone: 308-293-7258Luke Huddleston serves as a Farm & Ranch Broker with Marshall Land Brokers & Auctioneers, specializing in agricultural real estate, land auctions, and digital marketing strategies throughout Nebraska. Since joining the company in 2018, he has helped clients navigate hundreds of millions of dollars in land transactions while building a reputation for professionalism, communication, and innovative marketing.
A Kearney native, Luke graduated from Kearney Catholic High School before attending Creighton University, where he completed the Air Force ROTC program and earned his commission as an officer in the United States Air Force. He served on active duty from 2013 to 2018, followed by service in the Air Force Reserve. His military experience instilled the discipline, leadership, and commitment to service that continue to guide his work with clients today.
Luke’s interest in the land business began years before joining Marshall Land Brokers & Auctioneers. Through attending auctions with his father-in-law, Miles Marshall, as well as legendary auctioneer Robin Marshall and auctioneer Jeff Marshall, he witnessed firsthand the relationships, professionalism, and trust that define a successful land auction. Those experiences confirmed his desire to help Nebraska farm and ranch families achieve the best possible outcome when buying or selling land.
Today, Luke specializes in farm and ranch sales, online land auctions, and marketing strategies that combine traditional relationships with modern technology. He particularly enjoys assisting families, attorneys, and estate representatives through complex land transitions, developing customized marketing plans that maximize exposure while providing clear communication throughout the process.
Beyond his work with clients, Luke remains actively involved in his community. He serves as Chair of the Nebraska Auction License Law Committee, is a past member of the Nebraska Auctioneers Association Board of Directors, serves on the Yanney Heritage Park Foundation Board as Treasurer, volunteers as Auction Manager for the Kearney Catholic Foundation’s annual fundraising auction, and is a member of the Knights of Columbus and a lector at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Luke and his wife have been married for more than fourteen years and are raising their three children in Kearney. Outside the office, they enjoy spending time together golfing, following youth sports, and making memories at Johnson Lake.
Luke’s philosophy is simple: every client deserves to be heard, every property deserves a thoughtful marketing strategy, and every transaction deserves the highest level of professionalism and integrity. Whether representing a multigenerational ranch, an investment property, or a family farm, his goal is to help clients move forward with confidence while delivering results they can be proud of.
